Is my boyfriend disrespecting me?

at his corprate work place they are having a online auction to raise money for children of a deceased x- coworker. He chose to put himself up for a lunch. A bid to go have lunch with him. I said he schould put up he will go get them lunch and bring it to their desk. I THINK HE IS PUTING HIMSELF UP FOR A DATE AND GIVING ME NO RESPECT. He said it is not considered a date if it is a co worker. I say it is . HE says it is a corprate thing and nothing wrong with it . what do u think I am hurt and sick to my stomach at the thought of him going out with another woman co worker or not
