Seniors, did you push your parents ons, or were you too fearful of the punishment?

Yeah, I was pretty much the black sheep of the family. I left home when I was only 17. I couldn't take the abuse anymore. I always wanted to be a better parent than my parents were to me. Since they were so strict and demanded so much of me I was never able to live up to their expectations. So it was easy for me to push their ons. I will never forget the beatings. I've tried to forgive, but I will never forget.
