Whats the procedure for roasting of chicken from frozen. no time to defrost?
DONT SOAK THE CHICKEN IN HOT WATER!!!!! Put the chicken in a big bowl or pot and place it in the sink and run (not full force, just slow running) room temp/cold water over it for about 15-20 minutes. Then pat it dry with a clean towel or paper towels and proceed to season and roast. Cooking any meat from frozen makes the outside over cook before the inside is even warm, and because you have to fully cook chicken, it is one of the worst meats to cook in the oven from frozen. Also, defrosting in the microwave could cause it to cook and become gray and rubbery.
