well you didn't do anything wrong. I actually had a problem like that too, a while back, but i decided to just ignore the girl back and move on because its just a waste of time trying to figure out why they're mad especially when you know it was nothing (she ended up coming back but i don't talk to her anymore) Point being you shouldn't waste your time you can find better friends.
