My ex girlfriend has ignored me for months and months, and I don't know why?

Why is she doing it, it really hurts, and I just need some advice on how to find out why shes doing it. Do I confront her, leave it. How do I give her space, I love her. But she's got a new boyfriend, and I don't know if she would want to get back with me.
