Do you think I have an ear infection?

Last night my ear was having very sharp pains, felt like I couldn't hear. I thought I may have water in it so I slept on that side. This morning I had all kinds of waxy drainage all over my earlobe ( my ears don't ever drain like this) and the inside of the shell of my ear. Today it still feels like I can't hear and like it is blocked, it does itch sometimes, it is not as painful as yesterday but there is an ache. It seems like I can hear a light ringing in my ears also. I should mention my ear hurts when I blow my nose, or burp (sorry I know that is gross).
