What do you think about Fender Squire Fat Strats? I've been playing for 15 years, however I sold my guitars

a few years ago to pay off some debt. I recently just bought Fender Squire Fat Strat, and you know what? This thing rips. The action is nice, the fretboard is fast, it has Seymour Duncan Designed pickups, a nice humbucker on the bridge, and played through my Marshall 30 watt solid state amp on distortion setting, it sounds really good, and only cost me $300 new. Can't beat it. However, it does sound like crap when on the middle and neck pick up modes. Sounds great on the bridge though with the humbucker. Pure metal. Any thoughts?
