Should i visit my dying grandpa?

Everybody deals with death in their own ways, my grandpa ped last may, the day of my sons birthday. I don't go to graveyards, my mother died over 17 years ago and I just choose to grieve in my own way. I went to see my grandpa p, at times I wish i'd not been there, then others i'm so glad I was. I know eventually for me, the sight of seeing it will eventually become easier to bare over the years, but for me, the regret of not going would eat at my gut for a lifetime.
