Can i get evicted with a newborn?

I moved in to a town house in miami florida in may of this year i put about $1500 into fixing it up the walls were all messed up and it was destryoed . After i moved i realized the nursery room had no ac coming out of the vents, the downstairs bathroom had an issue with the toilet and a month after being there the tile in my room broke it was hallow for a while before that . So i called the landlor and he told me he would send someone the next day this happend for 2 more months and nothing he would say the handy man was calling me and i didnt pick up he actually even told me to stay home and wait for him i was there for 6 hours waiting and nothing then i find out they were in forclosure and didnt pay the ociation fees so they were harrasing me to pay them rent instead of the landlord . Finally in august 20 days before my due date i called them up and said i had enough that i would not pay any more rent if i didnt get everything fixed i had a baby on the way with no ac in his bedroom he admited that he didnt have money to fix it and that actually i knew to much about the property so it was better that i left , i told him i couldnt leave because i was about to pop and told him to go ahead and evict me or get the things fixed and i would pay my rent as usual . He started the eviction preccess a so begining of october i get the final notice called my attorney and he said i had about 3 more weeks before they through my things out that was on a friday saturday the air conditioner actually blew up i had to go stay a my moms because it was an oven in there , i started packing everything on sunday and monday tuesday when i got there it was pouringgggg rain and they through out all my one month olds things outside and left my bedroom set and a few other things . I want to kow if it is even legal to do that with a newborn involved . please let me know
